The birth of nibchoc….
A year ago I tasted my first raw chocolate bar. Being a lover of food and cooking (and mostly chocolate), the creative juices started flowing, and I haven’t looked back. It has been people’s enthusiasm, and their demands for more supplies and variety, that has guided the growth of nibchoc.
A year on…
I am now we, with the arrival of an amazing business partner. We now have seven varieties of nibchoc in development. We have a passionate and skilled group of like-minded people who have, by fantastic fate (through nibchoc), been brought together to make up our creative team, as well as nutrition experts (oh and willing quality control experts). All of us are working together very diligently to build nibchoc as a business, and we anticipate our official launch as a business in Oxford very soon (early March). We are hugely grateful to Oxford’s academic transient (and nibchoc addicted) community who are spreading the word about the wonders of nibchoc, not only nationwide, but worldwide. We are not reaching across the waters yet, but watch this space….
We are striving to be as ethical as we can be, so do bear with us if we are not quite there with some things yet! The main thing is that you enjoy nibchoc, and that you know it is a sensational tasting product, which is also very, very good for you. As we say, it is more than chocolate - but without the guilt.
We hope that this blog will keep you informed about the growth of nibchoc, but also act as a forum for you to continue to give feedback so we get our product and service just right for you. We want to hold on to the roots and values from where it all started.
All good things, R nibchoc

Good god - the nib choc is the most obscenely delicious choclately morsel I’ve eaten this year! (and I’ve eaten lots). My partner brought me a chile nib from her travels via Oxford Train Station and thought I might enjoy this exotic bar, and how right she was!
I want to congratulate you on pushing both this delicious recipe and sustainable concept, and am eager to taste all of your products. Have you ever thought about mint?
